Description:
The SLR-305 Straight Line Rip features 15 HP arbor motor plus solid steel and cast iron construction and comes standard with a metal chain feed design with ripping speeds up to 131 fpm for glue line tolerances on up to 8’ long material. The system also comes standard with (8) hold-down rollers for maximum accuracy and precision plus three sets of anti-kickback fingers for added safety. A laser guide line light is mounted to assist operator in feeding.
*Precision feed chains use polished and ground connector pins with diamond cut, heat
treated chain blocks to ensure total straight line feeding for glue joint rip capabilities.
*Precisely built and dynamically balanced arbor shaft made of nickel chrome steel are
mounted with angular contact ball bearings to eliminate radial run out and axial thrust.
*Three sets of anti kick back fingers. The first row of anti-kickback fingers is independently
mounted, without being affected by the pressure elevation device. A lower set of fingers is
also included. The independent third row of anti-kickback fingers is located at the front of the
saw blade.
*Solid steel, cylindrical positioning rod and quick cam cast iron rip fence provide accurate set-
up, fast movement, and dust free operations.
*Hand wheel arbor height adjustment with position measuring scale.
*Mechanical Auto-Lubrication System offers an innovative, mechanically operated, oiler
system that increases and decreases lubrication rates to the chain track automatically per the
feed chain speed. Equipped with low oil shut down system.
*Pivoting, eye-level controller conveniently features on/off switches for the saw blade and the
feed chain, as well as an emergency stop
*All electrics are UL/CE approved and feature Telemechanique electric hardware
