Description:
Quick change, heavy duty, interchangeable spindle, hardened, ground and electronically balanced, with BT-40 taper and pneumatic drawbar for spindle clamping. This heavy duty shaper features an articulating pendant control with PLC touch screen for programming spindle height in any of ten (10) pre-set metric positions. The numeric readout is displayed and motorized for quick and accurate spindle position.
Features:
The 10 HP, belt driven, interchangeable spindle features five (5) speeds and has an
electronic motor brake to stop the spindle. In addition the spindle has a full 250mm (10) of stroke, with 4.5 of tool capacity under the nut, the spindle taper is a machine tool BT-40 taper. The maximum tool diameters are 325mm (12.8) under the table and 370mm (14-1/2) above the table. These maximums are, of course, with the proper spindle diameter for the tool(s) size. The standard interchangeable spindle size is 1-1/4 with available optional sizes of Ύ , 1-1/2, and metric sizes of 25mm, 30mm and 40mm.
The machine features a 850 mm X 1300 mm ( 33-1/2 X 51) cast iron table, ground and polished plus T- slot miter gauge with workpiece holddown system and extension bar with stop. The combination dust hood, guard and adjustable fence has precision movements with three digital readouts for front to back fence positions. The aluminum fences feature adjustable fingers for closer material support.
