Description:
The BEAVER 400 grinders are horizontal grinders. They are designed specifically for long strips such as those from a rip or panel saw. The standard BEAVER is designed to be hand fed by the operator as the strip comes off the saw. As the material is fed into the opening, two pinch rollers ‘pinch’ and feed the material into the rotating rotor. The grinders utilize a low speed, high torque rotor to grind to scrap/waste material to size. WEIMA horizontals are the only horizontals on the market to incorporate a gearbox in driving the rotor. This allows the rotor to turn at only 250 RPM as opposed to 450 RPM for other manufacturers. These slow turning rotors eliminate the high noise usually associated with volume reducing machines and therefore enables the location of the machinery to areas convenient for waste disposal rather than locations that protect from noise.2700 Lbs

Description:
The Tiger is a horizontal grinder. This machine is designed specifically for a mixture of long strips such as those froma rip or panel saw and small end cuts such as those from a chop saw line. The Tiger 400 is a horizontal machine that receives the material from a vibatory conveyor system. From the conveyor, a feed roller system 'pinches' and feeds the material into the rotor. The Weima pinch roller system is equipped with replaceable aggressively shaped in feed bars. The grinder utilizes a low speed, high torque rotor to grind scrap/waste material to size. This slow turning rotor eliminates the high noise usually associated with volume-reducing machines and therefore enables the location of the machinery to areas convenient for waste disposal rather than locations that protect from noise.
